Copper Exploration in Laos is a strategic resource assessment project carried out by KN Minerals — a unit of KN Vientiane Group — within the territory of the Lao PDR. The project focuses on identifying the volume, quality and mining potential of copper ore in geologically promising areas, laying the foundation for a sustainable mining value chain in the future.

Objectives and direction

KN Minerals runs the project on a long-term basis: serious investment in the exploration and survey phase before any extraction activity. The goal is to build a detailed copper resource map, accurately assess reserves and geological conditions, and provide a scientific basis for safe, efficient and environmentally optimized mining plans.

Modern survey technology

The project applies international-standard survey methods in full: remote sensing and geophysical surveys, exploration drilling with core sampling, geochemical analysis and 3D orebody modeling. All data is processed with specialized software, ensuring high reliability for reserve reports according to international standards.

Environmental and community commitment

From the exploration phase onward, KN Minerals strictly complies with Laos’ environmental regulations: minimizing impact on forests and water sources, rehabilitating survey areas after completion, and consulting local communities throughout the process.
